Thank you to all the amazing gardeners, neighbors and friends helping build the garden community! It has already been a banner season, with nearly every plot of 95 plots planted and thriving.
Check out our Calendar for upcoming events, and remember to bring your excess produce to the barn on Mondays and Thursdays before 9 am so we can meet our produce donation goals to those in need. Learn more about our produce donation program Here.

We Love our Arvada Community!
Rose Roots garden was recently awarded a Neighborhood Improvement Grant of $3,000 to landscape and improve the vacant field to the West of the garden with matching funds from Rose Roots. Project expenses will be submitted by Dec 10, 2021, so keep an eye out for work in progress!
The Waitlist will open in Nov for the 2022 Season
In Nov 2021, we will have an online form where you can register for the 2022 Plot Waitlist or let us know if you are returning if you already have a plot. The waitlist will be availabe here.

John Malito was appointed by the Steering Committee to serve as Rose Roots Treasurer for the remainder of the 2021 season. We welcome John and sincerely thank Karel Hemler for her dedicated service officially and unofficially as Treasurer for 5 years. When you see her at the garden, thank her!
Monthly All Gardener Meetings:

Did You Know?
Rose Roots Community Garden, Part of Arvada's Public City Parks, is an organic garden run entirely by volunteers. We have 10 Service Teams you can learn more about Here.
Rose Roots Garden was founded in 2012 and we started donating produce in 2013 to community organizations in need. In 2021, our 9th year of giving, our goal is reach a donation total of 15,000 lbs!
Did You Know?
Rose Roots has 89 15'x15' plots and 10 ADA accessible raised beds. Water, tools, fertilizer and compost are provided with plot fees. Some plots are split so more gardeners can participate so we have 95 total areas available.
